Booking flight from RDU-SEA for SEA-NRT trip (12/22 at 11:20a).
Depart 3:45p 12/21 RDU. Arrive-IAH at 5:53p(scheduled 9:30p depart)-SEA.

That gives me 1 extra flight departing RDU at 5:32p(arrive 7:40p)
and gives me 2 earlier flights to go same day stand by on out of IAH(7:20p & 8:30p)

I would book one of the earlier flights out of IAH but the fare goes up about 1.5 times( 498 v 636) I do have a 200 voucher to help

Will likely be checking a Bag.

For the return on 12/29.
Scheduled arrival back to SEA at 8:17p
Take the 11:20p departure-CLE-RDU
(or would it be easier on my body to try and take some thing out on 12/30)

Just trying to plan for the serious brown stuff hitting the round oscillating device and missing the NRT trip.
Have I left myself enough margin of error?

That looks sensible to me. You have built in "reasonable" padding to deal with delays. At some point though, you just have to "let it ride", and I think you have that "balance" as scheduled. This is about how I would do it.:-:

It is free and good. I am personally using a KVM based hypervisor right now on my machines, on linux.

I use it for testing servers.

Good idea! Hey....any idea when you might want to think about doing the BHM golf weekend? I have to start allocating next year's vacation time and I think that trip will need either a Friday or a Monday off.

Finally, it was suppose to open sometime over the summer. But I guess like other things in the seattle area delays are expected and part of the process!!

Have any of the fine folks herein started to look at PRG plane fares yet for the Box Do? I was pricing them out of the greater Southeast, and they were just a little under $1000. Seems awfully steep for "off-season" Europe. I hate the idea of burning miles to Europe in January, but ......:(

I think patience will pay off and we will see sub-$500 fares next month that will get you close to PRG.

Don't even know if that is doable for me in 2010 yet -- gotta nail down a real job first.

Virus is really bad - connected to WiFi but can't get on any sites. My repair guy didn't pick up the phone and I've not a clue how to get rid of whatever I have.

What have you tried so far? Did you use msconfig to turn everything off and reboot? Did you try safe mode? Which tools are you using?

+1. I paid ~ 2K for a Delta M fare (with Open Jaw) over the summer so 1K for Y seems a bit excessive...

Play around with airline codes and you won't see too many filed airfares under the 1K mark right now:

Other than safe mode, I don't understand a word you said. I tried to download a spyware cleaner, and it tried to hit me for a $40 full version. I used to think I was pretty good at maintaining my system, then I started hanging around all of the IT wizardry in the Box. I feel like Brituchenite did before Seth cleaned out her system...

Makes sense....I hope we are able to do it but if it doesn't work out, there's always municipal courses in the area. Of course with your newfound CO elite status, won't it be nice to check the clubs for free??? ^

Sorry about the virus....that'll learn ya to stop going to websites with questionable content ;)
