It was pretty great. I had prosciutto (crudo) every day. I messed up the TomTom when touring Chianti and it took us on a very tiny dirt road in a vineyard where the car almost got stuck in the mud. I almost found the end of More with some Grappa in Rome. The Tuscany region is really nice. We eschewed points hotels and stayed in a villa not far from Florence and it was :-::-::-::-:. I will post some GIFS when I get them uploaded.

RT RDMs via EWR - 18267 mi (+100% Plat bonus) RT RDMs via IAH - 17033 mi (+100% Plat bonus) RT EQMs via EWR during DEQM - 54801 RT EQMs via IAH during DEQM - 51099 More importantly for me, though, I got the return NRT-EWR confirmed straight away, while BF on NRT-IAH was looking increasingly iffy. So given that CO refunded my $200 copay with the switch to Star Alliance, coughing up the $250 to get on a flight where UG could be confirmed immediately basically makes things a wash. |
