That makes sense.
At $500 or $1,000 per billing cycle on my AmEx (with the MR point transfer to CO) for the foreseeable future or until my bank starts to loathe me walking in the door, this will be a considerable bump to my reward ticket goal. Really should have started much sooner. |

Everyone who is doing this has a lot more patience than me. The thought of getting the shipment, taking it to bank (and reading some other posts, having to take to multiple banks) is enough for me to forgo the 500-1000 miles.

I started out slow and ordered $500 of Andrew Jackson coins. Product page says that coins are available to ship as of 16 July, but the order confirm email says that the coins are in stock. Which one to believe?

If it was the Palms, I'd be willing to bet that most of the staff could be classified as "tasty".
As far as brunch itself - we probably had about four pounds of crab legs each. |
Man, someone in AA Rev Mgmt must be smoking something with the fares that they are busting out from the east coast to Brazil....

Using the same pipe as the analyst who priced DL's ZRH fares last month?

Missed it by one.

$3000/month would cover one night a month at a Cat 2 hotel - which is rather convenient since most airports Sheratons/Four Points fall into this category. Perfect for MRing. |

Indeed, but until I start making real money again, I have no intent of spending the coins. Straight up point whoring for me for the moment.

Could you point me in the direction of where to order the coins? I have the CO Chase Debit card now and since I'm not working, I don't mind earning miles for free.
Also - note that the Mint does authorize the charges in advance; I don't know how that works with a debit card. |

I'm seriously tempted to open up a SPG AmEx and order $3000 in coins a month. Given that I drive by about 4 Wells Fargo branches on the way to work every day (and there are others I can go to that aren't too far out of the way), it shouldn't be too difficult to spread the love around.
