It seems that CO is holding reservations again (without requiring credit card charge).

Yesterday I went through the process of purchasing a ticket and chose my seats before deciding to wait and abandoned the transaction before confirming the credit card. I got the normal pop-up with a confirmation number asking if I wanted to speak to a representative.

Today, I opened up my OP account and notice that there is a reservation for the trip I looked up but it does not have a receipt or anything. I click on it and it says that they are holding the reservation until midnight tomorrow...

I cancelled the reservation and it asked me how I wanted the funds returned , I chose the original form of payment and click "Continue" and it errors out.

I believe this has been a known glitch for awhile.

Isn't that the truth. We love New York but years ago Franny and I concluded that one of the reasons that we loved it as much as we did was because we were able to get away for long weekends with regularity. Living there and not ever being able to leave causes the daily fast pace to wear on your system and after a while there is no amount of good stuff to do there that can alleviate that wear.

Really? Well, it sucks either way. If it charged my card I wonder which one it randomly chose, since I did not select one during the process.

Let me know your schedule and maybe we can work something out. I'm always up for hanging out in the PClub when I'm off duty unless you're talking about 6am.

Will let you know.

I've used my home warranty company thrice - all in the year of service I made the previous owner pay for ...

Uh Oh, sure you want to make that offer?

Why not? You rode all the way downtown in my car one evening and did not perform any of the repulsive bodily functions that would cause one to want to isolate you.

You also might bring a nice bottle of wine for us to drink. ;)

My schedule should remain the same until September.
Sunday thru Thursday 9pm-1am.
I do try and give away a few days so that I can have more days off but that varies from week to week.

We're going to be passing through SFO in late August (although, we're on NW flights right now). If we are able to get on to a CO flight, I'll certainly let you know!

IME, the charge never hits the card.

Do you care to explain why? And did you pass out? :D

I like the Bay Area a lot - sadly, we didn't have any customers (except the City of Walnut Creek) there, so a relocation to that region wasn't going to happen. We had customers all over SoCal - I spent a week of every month in the office in Los Angeles, two weeks every three months in SLC, a lot of time at client sites, and occasionally a week at home.

Insanity. there's nothing else to describe that. Although compared to my time in the desert, 110 is cool. I've been in 135 and it's very surreal.

Night, Box.

Sure, the zoning laws are weird (or, nonexistent) and the weather is super steamy in the summer but there seems to be a lot of nice areas in which to live, several great restaurants and lots of things to do.

Zoning laws have changed - for the better. I heart Houston.

Okay, since we're doing golf stories - I golfed in MCO when the actual temp was 102, approx 95% humidity and the heat index was I belive 115. Oh, and I was 6 months pregnant.

I was really happy when I found out our office was moving to DFW but found it to be only fair. (Maybe it's the airline hub?)

I had the opportunity to go back to SoCal about 12 years ago and took a pass. It was no longer the land of my youth. :(

Now, SAN, I could like that.

If you're moving to SAN, let me know. Didn't know you would never live in Houston or NJ. You didnt' put Nebraska on that list? I would always list ND, SD, KS, IA and NE.

Too cold for me year round.

Atleast there is no soccer for 6 weeks, just football until November.

When does football season start?

The man will golf anywhere and I do mean anywhere at any opportunity (6:00 a.m. with light up balls - he's there! A little snow? Winter rules - he's there. What's a little heat and humidity?)

I did not pass out, but I did drink a lot of beer, coke & water. (Not in that order and not in the same vessel. )

I had the opportunity to play when I was not planning to play so did not have the gear. I bought a cap at the course and it barely fit my head so there was no way anything else in the pro shop was going to fit.

Unless you're going custom, a lot of us guys won't be doing a lot of clothes shopping in the Orient.

Night golf is fun (well, at least finishing up 18 after the sun went down).
