One last thing about iPhone... I was watching the WWDC keynote again, and noticed that not a single person applauded when Jobs highlighted 'Enterprise Support' for the new iPhone. The others, 3G, third party apps, more countries, and more affordable received applause. So, I think that is an indicator of how the developer community feels. :D

Nice! Which part of the Heights? There's some great streets over there.

More north, 28th Street.

The farther south you go the more $$$ is required it seems.

It may not be the greatest place but the owners have taken care of it and the neighbors seem nice.

Congrats! ^

Thanks!

May have to have a FlyerTalk housewarming.

Speaking of flying, this week's specials are awful, unless anyone feels like going to ICT

You don't want to vacation in MFE?:D

EDIT: :eek:MFE didn't make the list.

I don't understand the continental.com specials anymore. There seem to be several unpublished weekend specials that you kind of need to search for. For example, LGA-IAH is $198 this week but is no where to be found on the list of specials. A few weeks ago EWR-LAX was an unpublished special at $249...

No wonder you can't pre-order the 3G iPhone, it has to be activated in the Apple Store or at an AT&T location. :(

There goes my dream of buying the phone w/ no contract and unlocking it to T-Mobile. Oh well.:td::td::td:

On the other hand, party in the Heights! Just make sure to order Star Pizza!^

There was also talk about it having to be activated within 30 days, so it sounds like it will still be available for sale online.

Apparently, it won't work on T-Mobile USA's 3G network anyway as they use some weird non-standard frequency that the iPhone does not support.

If that's the case, I'll pass completely. Until, someone modifies one to support T-Mobile's 3G system. I'm sure that will happen. A teenager was the first one to unlock the iPhone 1.0.@:-)

Well, I think this would require a hardware modification as it is probably a restriction on the radio they are using in the phone. Never know though...

Indeed. The 1700MHz frequency band that TMo is using is not one of the supported bands on the iPhone (or most other non-TMo devices). Unless the radio is software adjustable, getting it onto TMo may be a rather difficult challenge.

I'm sure it will only be a matter of time! :D
