If you are assigned one seat but sit in another, which do you record in FM? What if there is a change in cabin?

I downgraded myself on my ORD-CLT flight and ended up in Y but don't know about how I should skew the stats.

sbm12, where do you plan on looking?

Jackson Heights, Astoria, Park Slope, Cobble Hill and probably a few other neighborhoods.

Or my wife might actually decide to quit and we'll take a few months and go somewhere else with all our stuff just boxed up and deal when we get back. A guy can dream....

ETA: Just tried a dummy FM input and putting the different ICAO doesn't do it.

You can always do a custom airport or whatever they call it.

I've been to quite a few airports that have switched IATA code. I just use their current ones. Like DMK for the old BKK, TSA for the old TPE, etc. Problem arises when the airfield is totally closed, and a new one uses the original IATA and ICAO code. And unfortunately, that happens to one place I go most often - Hong Kong. The new airport is HKG/VHHH, same as Kai Tak. I haven't found a way on FM to make that two separate airports. So, my actual airport count is FM baglady's husband.

I record the seat sat in. If I didn't, I'd have put Y in when indeed I scored on promo upgrades. Not fair to do that to oneself, IMO. Would you record a flight that you got an EUA on as a Y flight?

True. I can always Tweet it to the FM people too...maybe they have developed a way to do this.

Pimpslap air is pleased to announce that it has exceeded 100,000 passengers per-day.

No, because my ticket stub would be for the F seat.

In my particular case I had an F seat assignment and gave it to someone else at the plane door.

I'd say you fail with more than 8 lines.

Thanks everyone! I took a Claritin about an hour ago and I think it's kicking in.

Is row 16 on the 764s (non-Mike) any better than the rest of the plane? SeatGuru says it has an extra inch of legroom so with no one in front of you reclining, it may be a better choice for me.

I think the reason I felt like microwaved poo yesteday was because I forgot to take Claritin the day before.

As for row 16. Limited legroom in those rows and I know some people complain about since you can't stretch out.

Stick to the seat sat in theory. It's where you physically were.

Tell me about it, but there's no solace in the n-th reply. I certainly wasn't glowing for getting the 50k reply.

Weird, check-in didn't ask me if I'd like to be upgraded if seats are available. I'm on the standby list, but I usually get asked that question.

14 seats open, 13 people on the standby list... We'll see...

I'd suggest they wear full biohazard suits.
