One more hour until work is done for today. I'm not sure if I'll make it.

Sounds about right. I believe I've blocked it. Rather traumatic.

I think AM updates at 10 minutes after the hour.

So you have 10 more mins.

On a weekday? Might not be too bad. The intra-Texas flights I've taken on WN before on early weekday mornings have usually been just fine, and relatively empty. Hopefully intra-Florida is similar.

Of course, intra-Texas flying during the week on WN really is a different experience than long/medium-haul WN flying, or flying WN to any sort of vacation destination. Routes like the HOU-AUS-LBB flight are typically more full of business travelers on weekdays than anything else, and they're like the CO and UA elites you're used to flying with. They know the system, they mostly follow the rules, they're efficient, and they don't cause much trouble.

I think you will be surprised at how many business people take WN.

I'm considering them for trips I take to MLU through the end of the year (by flying into JAN). Have already requaled for Plat, wouldn't mind a new FM line HOU-JAN, and would prefer the WN Mainline Y experience to COEx.

Would only have to give up 500 EQM, a few RDM beyond that, and a $5 Travel Club Credit. Would fly COEx back for the convenience of landing near home at IAH.

Yup. As long as you're not on a LAS (drunkards) or MCO (screaming kids) flight it should be fine. Even so, early morning flights have fewer of these demographics anyway.

Have you totally given up on the Colgan experience nonstop directly into MLU?

Sadly, the end of more was not found when I prounounced same. We got lost no less than three times en route to the Pulitzer early Saturday am. We kept looping back through Dam Square somehow, and through the Leidzeplein twice. No one could seem to figure out how to use a map properly. My legs were killing me the next day. Must have walked at least 10 miles.

Too pricey. JAN is cheap because of WN competition, and you can buy two separate one-ways to get double Travel Club Credits.

WN is doing a much better job explaining and enforcing the boarding system in my most recent experiences, so even if you do have some inexperienced folks, they will probably not be too much in your way. Spend the $15 for Business Select and board ahead of them.
