IMO, the Astros need to break up the team and get a bunch of new, young talent into their farm system (which has been a total shambles for a few years, now). It's a bit sad, really, as at the start of this decade, we arguably had one of the best farm systems in MLB. I know it's heresy, but I think they need to sell off Roy O., Valverde, and Lance and get as many prospects as they can for them while they are still in their prime.

Tejada and Pudge aren't going to take us anywhere, other than the nursing home. It's a shame we paid fat-boy Carlos Lee a king's ransom on a long-term contract, as well. :rolleyes:

I say blow up the team, but keep Hunter Pence. He's cool.

How many players on a roster? The NFL has 56. Unless the NHL has fewer than 26 the numbers are actually pretty close.

And only rookies are morons?

The numbers are better right now, but there are fewer players and most of them are better. Plus the other sports actually get more media coverage because they have more fans. :p If it had been some random left wing who had the DUI in Florida the story would have dropped a long time ago.

Oh, and the NHL assaults are against other players DURING the games.

That was downright dumb, on both the player and the league's parts. But then again, if the player wasn't a putz, the League would not have had to get involved.

Disagree. There's lots of stuff I don't like about how the NHL runs the game of hockey, but where I am unabashed is in my belief that hockey is a better game for kids.

As long as you don't get a message saying "Your flight has been :rolleyes: by the airline " you are good to go .
