Hmm, I realize that I have flown all CO narrow bodies, but I haven't flown a CO widebody since the early nineties,

I am just chuckling at some of the fares popping up on FareCompare's FT tool. It seems there is a $789 fare to Singapore from CLE that will net you just under 19000 miles.

Sure, but that is on FareCompare. How much does it cost once you add in the taxes and fuel surcharges. ;)

Oh, I know, that is why I chuckled.

I am chuckling at how expensive the fares are that I have seen recently. I just recieved an email for NY to YUL for $1423, and NY - YYZ for $1100-ish. The other day, I got an email for NY to Hartford, CT for $1459. Those are all great deals.

Here is an oddball flight: CO1990 on 21 April is non stop from SEA to CLE - this is the only instance of the flight that I could find in the schedule. Perhaps the back half of a charter?

Hartmann Mar 25, 2009 10:47 am

CM, I was looking at the world you constructed and was wondering why there are so few airports. Is it because more airports = more tokens?

MBM3 Mar 25, 2009 10:56 am

Hey CLE folks - it looks like you can grab fares from ERI to SEA for about $250 with a routing of ERI-CLE-IAH/EWR-SEA. The IAH routing gets you about 3500 miles each way.
