I was just asked if I want to spend a couple of day in Kona, free of rent.

Kona is preferable to H:rolleyes:n:rolleyes:lulu in every meaningful way. I hope you said "yes"

There was a diner that I loved going to as a kid...it was in Anaheim, CA. I can't remember how to spell the name, but it doesn't matter since it's been demolished. Anyhoo, I used to get their legendarily large bowl of Cheerios and a side of bacon. And I'd eat them together. That was in the mid-to-late 80's. This new craze of bacon as a key fusion ingredient is really quite strange.

It was once home to New Jersey's only five-star restaurant, though I'm not sure who gave it the five stars.

I think that it was AAA. It was a joke of a rating because they didn't really eat at any of the fine dining options in NJ.

Then I shouldn't mention how lovely it is on the back patio with 70 degree weather right now? Bad idea? :p

It is semantics, I'll agree, but they are giving triple miles on the M+ fares, so I have no problem with them calling it 300%, even if it is only double what you would have received anyways.

Either way, they are smart to be encouraging the higher fares and not the lower ones.

If you listened to all of the sturm und drang over in the Delta forum, you might almost believe that so many important flyers were abandoning DL that it might end up going right out of business.

The LUT crowd is desolate. :D

I've heard that the River Palm isn't to be trifled with, and I remember Prado's, the Plum Room, and the old Fireside (in Paramus, IIRC...forget exactly where but on or near Route 4) from my grandparents either taking me there or talking about them. If I do get that job, I'm going to have lots of fun introducing myself to a huge pool of new vendors and restaurants.

Other than the Lounge, is the DL forum much more than storm and stress these days?

(Three languages in one post. Go me.)

If I wasn't going to TPA this weekend, I'd be extremely jealous!

Instead, I'm just a little bit jealous.
