Thanks everyone. I'm really getting tired of being home during the day...here's to hoping. Worse comes to worse, I could always wait for FL to post their openings for ACY. :p

I won't be there long enough to say yes. But I haven't said no yet. I'd still need to get over to the big island. The cheap fare is gone now if anyone is looking. It's more than doubled since I booked it.

Instead, I'm just a little bit jealous.

Don't worry. Come July, you can make fun of all of us when it is about 7.25 degrees cooler than the face of the Sun here at 10 pm.

I'm not sure to what Princeton exit on Rte 1 you are referring in order to get over to near 206 in Hillsborough. I do not recall any Princeton signs until maybe south of Kendall Park and to get over the river to Hillsborough at Millstone, Blackstone Mills, or even on the Griggstown Causeway involves long, slow slogs on country roads.

I commuted to offices across the street from Princeton Airport (at a Princeton address even though in another county ) for seven years from Manhattan and IMO there is no way on god's earth to get to anywhere in Hillsborough Township from JFK in less than an hour and change.

I would most likely think of accessing it on 206 via 22 over the Somerville Circle but I would like to think about that for a while before becoming definite. I think that Olton Hall will probably have an opinion on that subject.

Really depends where in Hillsborough. Hillsborough is one of the largest townships in NJ at 51 square miles. While one end of Hillsborough is close to Princeton, the other end borders Flemington. I was headed to the Hillsborough/Franklin/Montgomery border via Ridge Road off Route 1. But I had to swing by Princeton first on that trip.

I've been known to drive a bit on the fast side and i've also made it from JFK to New Brunswick in record time in the past. Really, if you can do it right, you can be from NJ to JFK in 30 mins if there is no traffic on the Belt or SI.

I have used too many foreign languages and injected way too much thought from Planet Normalcy into the forum for one evening. I bid thee all goodnight.

I once did the onramp of Exit 74 on the Parkway to the parking lot under EWR-C in 52 minutes.

You were going to that Wall Street I see. I agree to get to that part of Hillsoboro it may have been faster going TPK-287-22-206. I know the back road from 27 to get to the intersection of Hillsboro, Montgomery and Franklin but that's impossible to explain to people.

Rt 1 and Ridge Road intersection in South Brusnwick is a good 15 minutes from the center of Princeton. Maybe 7 minutes from the it's neaarest boarder though I wouldn't call any of their borders close to Princeton as there's that giant mass called Montgomery and Hopewell between the two towns. Just so you know, it's next to impossible to speed on Rt 1 now. Everyone has decided to drive at least 5 mph below the speed limit since last spring, even when there is no traffic and they mess up the road.

Oh Raymond Rd. would have been faster than Ridge.

You just dated yourself since that parking lot is now baggage claim. ;)

Well, the drive on Ridge Road is a lot of fun, particularly if you don't get stuck behind someone going slow.

I avoid Route 1 like the plague but this particular day since I had to head down to Princeton, I opted to take it rather than driving through Hillsborough, Montgomery and South Brunswick from 22.
