I was talking about getting the mileage value for the dollar.

What I fail to understand is the #1 On-Time in CLT ad. Does anyone else even fly into CLT enough to have meaningful on-time stats?

"I won! I won! But wait...I'm the only one here."

Well, so much for making obscure jokes before 7AM when you didn't sleep hardly at all the night before.

I think there's a faction of my company that is trying to set a world record by having a conference call with one person in every time zone of the world.

The last conference call I just got off had 14 time zones represented. 14!

I'm waiting for the invitation that asks me to rent a boat and proceed 700 nm. due east of American Somoa and dial-in.

Hold out for the $137 fares, then book several. :D

It is only 10 AM
It is going to be a  day

HAHAH! The conference call I just dialed-in to has the theme from Night Court as the hold music!

Oh EU, how I love your unintended kitsch. :D

If certain things were right in the world, I'd probably be doing what you are. But because SEA was a choice, I couldn't go all that way to not go to a city that I've wanted to go to since 4th grade.

you're on a journey not of sight and sound (because we don't have any IFE) but of mind.

My wife and I are going to participate in the Mutt Strut & Runway Race benefiting the Houston SPCA.

Would anyone be interested in sponsoring us? We are trying to raise between $500 and $1000.

You'd be helping pups like our little one get adopted: http://flickr.com/photos/ssegraves/3223156028/

Sure, but no reason you can't book a couple more once you get the missus back home. :p

Just whipped up my breakfast order of steak and eggs. ^ Sadly this represents the end of the supply I have of leftover steak from V day dinner. :td:

Don't forget SNA, ONT, SJC. SAN isn't the best option mileage-wise; it's noticeably lower than other CA cities. SNA and LAX are the EWR/PHL of the West Coast. Same day same-ish connection times can often be $50 less for SNA vs. LAX. And you get to see a huge statue of John Wayne, and see where part of the beginning of Jerry Maguire was filmed.

I realize SAN is not the best mileage-wise, but it is somplace I definitely want to visit again. just a beautiful place :)

and SEA for the obvious reasons.
