I got to page 13 and quit reading. It is just people yelling at each other at this point. The thread needs to be taken out and shot. That thread has taken rational discourse, violated it, and left it for dead on the side of the road.

And that was just page 1.

The problem (as I see it, while choosing NOT to engage on commenting on moderation policies, an act that can result in disciplinary action ;)) is that no ToS are being violated. Besides, it is funny if you don't actually take it seriously.

Quickest turn ever! We were late getting into PDX and they turned the flight as quick as they could. Good thing the wine cart was at the gate, I grabbed a few bottles of PDX's finest. No time to check out the clubs though.

Due to a possible late arrival by rolov, the reservation for tomorrow night's dinner has been moved back to 745. I have told him that it is unlikely that food will be ordered for at least a half hour after that as the early arrivals investigate the restaurant's wine, beer, and spirits capabilities.

All who have originally signed up have confirmed except shell nyc who I presume is currently in transit from CUR ^ and will show up in town sometime tomorrow.

I understand that sbm12 has now become a possible show. I know the place and I am sure that they will be able to find a place for him in one of the corners of the dining room, or maybe in the hallway. ;) I will be sure to bring a cellphone with sensitive speaker capabilities so that if we are out of his sightlines, he still can join us electronically. :D

Just got off a transcon.

The food offered on transcon was less than a midcon. The fruit bowl served separately was the same as the fruit bowl on a shorthaul. It used to be a nice fruit plate. Omelet was the same. No yogurt. I was disappointed.

It was a 752 no less. Service was mediocre.

UA p.s. beats this flight out of the water and around the corner.
