That culvert does have the advantage of the soil providing thermal massing to provide some heat on cold nights.

I think this view I took a photo of from under a bridge is much nicer.

What about this kind of bridge?

I already have J tickets to AMS, I'll take the cash. May suggest the upper deck of a 744 for J tickets to AMS though. Only way to travel to continental Europe.
