Sorry, I just don't understand this show at all.

I gave it a chance at the start, but when I surfed past the producer's "we need to explain all the weird $hit so you keep watching" intro hour tonight and saw the huge dial that makes the island's place in space and time change, I was thrilled that I gave up on that dumb show.

It's X-Files syndrome. I got deep into that show but they didn't have an idea where they were going and they just fell flat on their faces. With any myth-arc type show I'll give it a wide berth until it ends and see if they have something cohesive.

I'm afraid, though, that Prison Break is heading down that path with no clear direction and they're winging it until they get canceled at which point they won't be allowed to wrap it up.

+1. I was in the mood to stir up some trouble.

My AMS-EWR flight posted this evening. What are the chances my BRU-AMS flight on KL will post without me having to send in the boarding pass?

Did yours post as a B fare? Mine did but I did not get 150%

Same - kind of strange.

Calling for Enmascarado or anyone else that can read MRI's....

Son got his MRI done today. I have 5 films of his right knee and I can't see any tear. I figure all these years of watching TV Doctor shows would finally pay off but I'm not sure if I even know what to look for!

Hints, anyone.

The "I hate EWR Terminal A" one is quite fun. Some of that fun spread over to Hartmann's frozen salad thread.

I’ve waiting for someone to say that the frozen lettuce is a deliberate act by the FA’s as part of a greater conspiracy between CO and UA.

I finally figured out what song Hartmann and I sang with our Irish friends in BRU. Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody".

I can't read MRI's, but if there is a tear it depends on how his knee moved so as to cause the problem. The first time I tore mine was from a fall backwards, and the tear was perfectly at 6 o'clock when viewed from the top because of the nature of the fall. The second time was from a movement to the right, and the tear was predictably along the left edge. The meniscus in the knee is the small pad of cushioning material at the intersection of the three bones in the leg. It's behind the patella and lives on top of the tibia. Hopefully that can at least give you an idea of which view of the knee to look at and in what neighborhood of the knee you need to look.

I take no responsibility for the selection of the song.

This helped. Thanks.

I can't see anything wrong with his meniscus. His growth plates are huge so maybe this is just typical growing pains. Even the guy doing the MRI said that he's going to grow a few more inches. My son is currently 5'10 and he's only 14.

Hartmann, imho, was a good sport. I didn't read any evil into his posts. Some others, weeeelll...

I think I may have heard him pounding his head against a desk a few times judgeing from some of those answers.

OK Pain vs. cash question. Is flying into MAN less painful than flying into LHR? I've only flown into MAN domesticly and flown out international,. MAN is $55 more and the rail tickets I need are the same from both MAN and LON and the time is nearly identical (except I can catch the train at MAN instead of treking into Kings Cross)
