I was pleasantly surprised with how much French I had retained from School-days when I was in Quebec. I am eternally thankful to my parents for ensuring that I learned Spanish before English, as it has made communicating in all other Romance Languages much easier. I can generally make my way through an Italian or Portuguese Newspaper and get the gist of the articles, without having formally studied either. I plan to do the same with any future children of mine.

I am a firm believer in some sort of playoff structure - the school presidents and bowl committees need to step out of their bank vaults and start focusing on what is best for the game and the fans that support it. Can you imagine if they applied this BCS "system" to college hoops? Come on now!
