Hey everyone...not so much with being online too much yesterday, thanks to this crappy system. Troubleshooting 10 year old computers in French is not my idea of a good time.

Oui, mais cet ordinatuer utilize le Windows NT 4. C'est mieux que ME, mais très ancien. Aussi, l'ordinateur est très lentement.

Scarily, a couple of those words I was thinking in French and started to type in English. Turns out my French isn't too bad at all. I can easily communicate with most the staff here, though I often ask them to repeat or slow down a bit.

And my FT aerogeekdom came out earlier when someone started gushing about the SkyMiles program. She was rather shocked when I started correcting just about everything she said. And now I'm a party trick, where they ask me questions to see how ridiculously detailed I get in the answers. The drug also seems to have me rather wired, so I'm talking even faster than normal about the FFer stuff, making it that much more entertaining. My tales of the SMF and OKC-SNA runs got a lot of strange looks.

I came across a reference to Art Vandelay in a book I am reading about culture and media. I had never realized that it is an 'e' in the middle of he name rather than an 'a'.

Just thought I'd share.

That's why I just say it. Say Vandelay!

Today is further proof that I should have been a teacher.

Good morning Box.
I hate being sick. I have also discovered that when you go to bed at 8pm you will awake at 4am, still coughing.

Same here. I thought it was fairly easy.

The ones that throw me have a color as a background for the screen and a color on the words. Yikes!
