Entirely new meaning for the term "intellectual property".

I never realized that was called a tulip until people started screaming about it.

Neither did I, but I've learned a little about the person that designed it. He also was known for title sequences for movies, and even directed a science fiction film. Saul Bass seemed like an interesting guy.

It's not really Texas' new license plate. It's one of a number of new specialty plate designs up for vote. I'm not too fond of seeing out-of-state schools on that page. I voted against all of those out-of-state schools. Why does Ford Motor Company need a plate?

Yes, playing guitar is fraught with physical challenges. Arthritis, carpal tunnel, even, as Mark Knopfler said, blisters on your thumb. Or were you referring to that other, much older, profession?

You need to get into the mind of a gearhead. ;) That would be perfect if you had a Mustang.

He trademarked "naked cowboy" a long time ago. Not surprised he's suing. He makes a pretty decent amount of cash with the recognition of the concept.

Georgia and Florida have both had out of state schools for a long time. But for some reason GA didn't have a UF plate until very recently. When they added it to a similar petition page there was genuine outrage in the state. I believe it was approved and perhaps lawsuits were filed in an attempt to block it. Much  ensued.

I got a lot of poking and prodding today but I'm pretty good on vaccines now. I find out in a week if I need to get a Hep booster but the Yellow Fever is done. Oh, and I might need typhoid, too. At least my insurance covers all the shots other than the Fever.

Guess I better run out to get some AA food (i.e. all double no trouble promo). Would like to make that 1M mile threshold someday:rolleyes:

No, I assumed he owned it; the posted video refers to a cease and desist order. The act and the property are valuable for sure; I was just commenting on the caliber of them.

I am hoping I reach my AA 1 mm threshold on Saturday. ^
