$300 a/i on CO metal. $40 less on AA (and with more potential for creative routings).

I am not sure how to sell Guatemala to Pos J 2A

Being that First Group owns "hound" They may want their stupid pink logo on the plane like they put on every bus they run (well not in the US) and every train.

Perhaps we have to wait until the merger actually takes place to migrate the box to the UA forum.

Now please tell us that you just this minute got in from Korea or England or someplace, and that you didn't just lurk back with your popcorn and watch the whole thing go down. ;)

Including 10 percent discounts on AA?

I would imagine that a discount would make it even less expensive. ;)

Lower published fare or taxes on AA; not exactly sure which. I didn't apply any coupons/discounts. Thread is in the MR Deals forum.

Not in the least. The only hostility on the entire DL board was shown by some of the NW flyers who (not without some reason) felt that they were getting screwed over. There are a couple of Lounge regulars over there who do show their bitterness and disappointment but they do not spew hostility into the Lounge. But few of the redtails have bothered spending much time there. They are too busy complaining elsewhere.

In The Lounge™, the atmosphere is, compared to over here, quite sedate. The crowd is older and they have mostly known each other face-to-face for many years. There is not much of the nuts and bolts traveling talk that there is here and the level of IT sophistication is light years behind what it is here. It is more like a comfortable old shoe than the sort of fast action place that this is and is paced accordingly.

So tonight is Night Two of my chick flick marathon: A Good Year with Russell Crowe (although the part was Hugh Grant's). Went on to imdb to review the cast, and there was a blurb that it is Zoe Salanda's birthday. She was in The Terminal (watched last night), and I never made the connection.

Long day of grilling meats, drinking beer, and staying out of the heat down here in LBX. Driving home tomorrow.

Night, Box.

Interesting analysis. I just hope that our Lounge remains an awesome Lounge.

Night, Box. I was in bed at 0100 and up again at 0540.
