I don't blame you. I'm going to have to convince the captain to call in to Gander Center to get score updates.

Vaccuming is . It would be really awesome if my compensation at IBM improved to the point where we could hire a once-every-two-weeks cleaning service. 2400sqft is a lot of carpet to clean.

I really hope the deletion of PB 3. is not a sign of things to come.

Looks like DCA-SFO is sub $200 again...

Randy likes Teh Box. IB likes the ad revenue. Mods serve at the pleasure of Randy.

I would think it would be best for the silliness to cease until such a time as the merger is consummated and the programs are actually combined. Until then, we're wasting credibility, insofar as creditability means anything on an Internet forum full of airplane nerds.

+1. A subtler touch is needed.

With a plane probably half full with Europeans, hopefully the odds of his/her doing that improve. There was a time when it worked in reverse: a passing plane with fresh ball game scores could trade them for a solid radar fix from one of the Coast Guard's ocean station ships (gone now; not much need for them, or for radar fixes, recently).

I'm going to start my movie, so I can finish it before it's too late to enjoy it.

If one can not be silly on internet, where can one be silly?

It looks like same day turns are available on most Saturdays. For example, 9/18. Comes to $197 a/i. If I could find a good IAH-DCA fare, I'd book a few of these...

tjtenor4 and I have a wedding to go to in Buxton, NC (southern tip of the Outer Banks) on a Saturday in July, after which we'll have to make the 3 hr drive north to ORF to get on a 6 am flight to BDL to show up for the command performance that is my grandfather's 80th birthday party the next day. Oh, and despite the fact that this occasion's apparently been planned for a while, the date and time only made its way to my family within the last couple of weeks (I'm not at all surprised). Good thing we hadn't booked the return flights from ORF yet for some reason, and the new ones weren't too crazy expensive.

What's the 5th? I'm assuming that for us NJ'ers we're talking EWR/PHL/LGA/JFK (and of those, only PHL would fall into the "affordable" parking category).

Agreed. I even voted against my own school on that site. No reason to have out-of-state institutions. And +1 on the Ford thing being totally weird.

Not MR forum material IMO but, CO has LGA-IAH-SJC r/t for $235 a/i with same day turns on Saturdays later in the year through EOS.

Out at 5:45 am and back at 11:XX pm. I think thats the only one available for the same day turn.

I did that exact run (though it cost a little bit less and was during DEQM time) last spring - and you and I were together on the first leg!

Might grab one of these, though Saturdays are going to be almost impossible to pull off in the fall. Should carefully check my completed+booked EQM totals, though, and see if/what I need to make up the balance.

I'll be on NJT/subway/bus for the entirety of the Group C games. Ugh.

I decided to uncheck and recheck-in for my UA flights tomorrow, and sure enough I'm still on the DM list for EWR-SFO but SFO-LAX-HNL are all in Eco Plus now. Good stuff.
