Fixed it for my own use. Although now that I see that they are offering gift card rebates for used books, I may reconsider that stance.

I'm pretty sold on Android. iPhone is great too, but I'm still a bigger fan of the flexibility and customization options on Android, as well as not being locked into things like iTunes and syncing over a USB cable. The drawbacks to Android are, of course, fewer apps (but that is rapidly going away), and the fact that some phone manufacturers have butchered the OS with layers of crapware that they insist on running on top of it — and then they're slow to release the OS upgrades as a result. However, some of the very best phone hardware available in the US right now is available only with Android, and it's a very solid alternative to Apple. |

Amazing. Seems whenever I order something Fedex Ground, even from like 100 mi away, they drive it around for 5 days because that's the tariff.

At some point I'm going to have to move that collection of books out of my mother's house, and if I can cut down the number of physical titles I own, I just might go to digital books.

I've become slightly more of an Amazon.com person given the CoinStar machines don't charge for counting coins if one takes a Amazon.com gift certificate instead of cash. (Those who take cash face a 9.8 percent default fee).

I have to shower and drive into town. It's a good thing I elected to buy the discounted prescription sunglasses the other week. Between the glow from its vibrant economy and the general divine countenance, the light can be pretty intense. Later.

Amazon offers so much more than books. In reference to the car seat I bought from them, they beat everyone's price by a minimum of $40. That, and they don't charge taxes nor shipping fees (over a certain amount), won it for me.

Seriously, unless you mean massive press run paperbacks you'll always be able to re-acquire in the used market for cheap, keep your books. They're heavy and a pain, but they're a treasure. They're a large part of who a person is.
Off to el banco and el Wawa. |

I don't like Amazon principally because they ship USPS for smaller items
Please tell me there is a rational reason for this opinion. I'd love to hear it. |

Does this Android thing of which you speak come with a real keyboard? Touchscreen keyboards can haz gives me an attack of the .
It took a lot of convincing for me to go to a device with only a virtual keyboard. But now that I'm used to it, honestly, I'm fine just having the virtual keyboard. The phone is a lot lighter as a result, and most of the device's real estate is dedicated to the screen, where it's really needed. |

What is wrong with receiving small items by USPS?
