Social Media 101 for Corporations.
The internets can be a very powerful tool to create a constructive dialogue with customers and vendors. However, when responding on behalf of the company (either as an official self-ID'ed representative of the brand, or simply a known member of that organization) be very careful about saying fundamentally wrong things. I have to give CO and SPG credit on this front. They are very thorough, consistent, and deliberate in their messaging and communication. Here's an example of a fail. In other news, Beer is Good. So is footie. And popcorn. And free WiFi so I can "work" while consuming the other three. :D  |

Oh wait. You flew DL. And connected through ATL. That's what's wrong with it. |

What's wrong with that? You got to fly over three states twice in the same day.

Come to think of it, if I still carried cash and generated change I would make it a point to not circulate pennies.

The US really should do away with pennies like many other countries have done. Same for $1 paper notes. I'd be totally fine with the smallest paper note being $5, and $1 and 50¢ coins being widely circulated instead. Heck, a $2 coin would make sense too.

Just a little more erect. :-: Speaking of erect, Monday I posted on Facebook about my first trip through a TSA nudie-scope at BWI. A friend of mine replied back that next time I should make sure I'm aroused for the scan. |
Just got my summer pay figure - net effect is more than doubling the salary for the summer (as I get paid year-round). Add that to the Wyndham / BD miles I got this morning and the UA credit for Sunday's  I received last night and this seems to be a decent day.

Time to go home, mow the lawn, do some yardwork and PT, etc.

I left my work laptop on EDT (since everyone I work with is in NJ/PA) and it's really messing with my head. I feel like every morning/afternoon is an hour longer.
