Would your landlord let you out of your lease early or are you on a month to month?

In our lease agreement there is a clause that I added (and he agreed on) that says if we buy a house and we use him as our realtor, we can exit the lease at no cost.

Surely the use of that adjective in conjunction with that publication is humor...right?

I was convinced that I would be migrating to Tour2, aka the Bold 9650. After reading up on it last night, I'm not sold. I want to keep a smartphone, but I'm unsure of where to go if I leave the BB family. There's also the small matter of my desire to leave the BB family just to stick it to Jim Balsillie and his flagrant disregard for the existing corporate governance structure of the NHL.

Sounds like he was happy to cover his bases ;)

Sounds like a great deal on his end too.

I can't imagine that it wouldn't be.

I used to say that about virtual keyboards although I'm sold on them now. Just takes a little time to retrain the fingers.

As for Windows, why not wait until later this year when the Windows 7 smart phones launch? It's looking like it will be a much better phone OS than the current Windows Mobile.

^^ to Amazon and Fedex. Ordered a car seat for toddler photog72 on Monday morning. Selected the free ground shipping option. Fedex Ground delivered it just now. It started its journey in IND. I haven't opened the box to check for damages. So far, so good.^

I've never felt the need to pay for expedited shipping with Amazon.

Amazing. Seems whenever I order something Fedex Ground, even from like 100 mi away, they drive it around for 5 days because that's the tariff.

Fixed it for my own use. Although now that I see that they are offering gift card rebates for used books, I may reconsider that stance. At some point I'm going to have to move that collection of books out of my mother's house, and if I can cut down the number of physical titles I own, I just might go to digital books.

Same here. I'm just surprised at how quick the car seat arrived. 2 day shipping for free. ^ On their website it showed an estimated arrival date of tomorrow.

I was a die-hard BlackBerry fan for a long time. Now I hardly touch the one they gave me at work.

I'm pretty sold on Android. iPhone is great too, but I'm still a bigger fan of the flexibility and customization options on Android, as well as not being locked into things like iTunes and syncing over a USB cable. The drawbacks to Android are, of course, fewer apps (but that is rapidly going away), and the fact that some phone manufacturers have butchered the OS with layers of crapware that they insist on running on top of it — and then they're slow to release the OS upgrades as a result. However, some of the very best phone hardware available in the US right now is available only with Android, and it's a very solid alternative to Apple.
