I really need to get to the VZW store and take a look at the new smartphones. I want a Windows smartphone with a touch screen and a real keyboard, none of that virtual keyboard crap :-:

Surely the use of that adjective in conjunction with that publication is humor...right?

As for Windows, why not wait until later this year when the Windows 7 smart phones launch? It's looking like it will be a much better phone OS than the current Windows Mobile. |

^^ to Amazon and Fedex. Ordered a car seat for toddler photog72 on Monday morning. Selected the free ground shipping option. Fedex Ground delivered it just now. It started its journey in IND. I haven't opened the box to check for damages. So far, so good.^

There's also the small matter of my desire to leave the BB family just to stick it to Jim Balsillie and his flagrant disregard for the existing corporate governance structure of the NHL.
I'm pretty sold on Android. iPhone is great too, but I'm still a bigger fan of the flexibility and customization options on Android, as well as not being locked into things like iTunes and syncing over a USB cable. The drawbacks to Android are, of course, fewer apps (but that is rapidly going away), and the fact that some phone manufacturers have butchered the OS with layers of crapware that they insist on running on top of it — and then they're slow to release the OS upgrades as a result. However, some of the very best phone hardware available in the US right now is available only with Android, and it's a very solid alternative to Apple. |
