If I use miles for a saverpass F/C ticket and only 1 of the 2 segments are confirmed in F/C is that 2nd segment waitlisted for 25,000 miles?

True. I just never stayed at any of the impressive Hilton properties. The best I've seen was Hilton Athens, which would definitely be a decent use of a free night. I also :rolleyes: at Hilton's sucktastic official upgrade policy for top-tier folks.

Yes and no. You are waitlisted but I think they still have a bug where you might be skipped over for EUA's. Just ask belynch :-:

Teh Mom is redeeming there later this year. She is going to see the new Seabourn ship and doing ATH-VCE on it, with EWR-FRA-ATH and VCE-MUC-EWR on either end, all in LH C. First time in recorded history that my mother has opted away from an available nonstop.

It can be but you have to actively request it and make sure that the waitlised segment appears on your PNR.

Your seat inventory is different than upgrades so it is entirely possible that EUAs or Y/B/M-Ups will be processed and you won't be upgraded.

EUA list is fully functional this week.

I can haz a 752 for EWR-MCO and PBI-EWR. I think my chances of an EUA for MCO is almost 100%, but PBI I am not so sure about.
