Teh Googles has failed me.

In an attempt to find a definition of the term "nooner" for Mackie I ended-up being sucked into the vortex of an encyclopedia article about the evolution of Canadian punk rock radio stations.

Le sigh.

Please tell me there is a rational reason for this opinion. I'd love to hear it.

I have a small mailbox, and I would ultimately like to see mail delivery not be a function of the Federal government. I try not to utilize the Post Office.

Depends on the device. Some hardware has a physical keyboard, some don't.

It took a lot of convincing for me to go to a device with only a virtual keyboard. But now that I'm used to it, honestly, I'm fine just having the virtual keyboard. The phone is a lot lighter as a result, and most of the device's real estate is dedicated to the screen, where it's really needed.

Interesting point. My upgrade comes due in October IIRC, so I have a while yet.

The internets can be a very powerful tool to create a constructive dialogue with customers and vendors. I have to give CO and SPG credit on this front. They are very thorough, consistent, and deliberate in their messaging and communication.

Here's an example of a fail

That could just as soon be a know-it-all 20-year-old front desk agent. Their choice of FT handle is most regrettable.

OneWorld USA just sent me an e-mail about a sizzling summer sale - impacts 53 cities and none of them are BNA

The departure sequence came and went with about the same necessity as ATL Terminal B Popeyes.

There is a Popeyes in ATL-D that is arguably just as bad. Walked off the plane in EWR, beelined it to the men's room, and thought of you as I was doing so, knowing that it was stupid to have gone to Popeyes in ATL.

Won't ever happen, until we invent teleportation. Too many remote/rural communities depend on the USPS for affordable shipping. Yes, it is subsidized, but those rural states have voters and senators, and enough of them to prevent the USPS from being dismantled.

If the USPS were done away with, many small communities would be left without meaningful access to shipping services.

How many times do the SkyTeam USA folks have to say Popeye's is good, Popeye's in ATL is bad? At least now we do have One Flew South and Kobe burgers.

I appreciate your appreciation.

Although I guess teh Googles ended up not failing me after all. For my post about the evolution of Canadian punk radio is far funnier than anything I would have posted about the subject at hand*.

*unintended pun

Sure, and switching away from a BlackBerry to spite Jim Balsillie won't affect their stock price. I do it just to feel better...denial of revenue for reasons only marginally connected to reality makes me feel better.

Switching away from Blackberry would be a reduction in one unit shipped - it's much more of an impact than the "boycott BP" crowd.
