Decided not to transfer my SPG to AA. Those points really come in handy when we need to stay at a Cat 2 hotel and the rates are $100+.

All true!!

Thanks for reawakening my inner Geography Major geek. My Senior thesis included an analysis of the geographic dispersal of ICBM sites in the US and Russia.

I suspect that geography nerdism runs strong in many of us travel addicts. :D

Good Morning Box. I feel like cr@p today. My colleagues are handling this morning's classes while I try to get going. Not sure what the problem is, but I feel like I got hit by a bus.

The weekend BOX DO is finally hitting you ;)!!!

In other news, I got another free night from Hilton this AM. Didn't realize I would be getting another!!

Aye. I only decided to dip into my balance as I could do so without dropping it under 170K. Didn't want to drop it below 200K, but I couldn't resist IPC.

Dunno if AA's Single OneWorld Carrier Award is the same as BA's, but just remember that 60K SPG is almost enough (5K short after bonus, and you can outright purchase the 5K) to get you down to anywhere in S. America from anywhere in N. America on LAN in C, regardless of total mileage flown on the award. PUQ and IPC are easy targets, and LAN Ecuador begins Galapagos Service in September. :-:

Morning, Box.

The geography category in the original Trivial Pursuit has always been my go-to.

My 50-minute commute went to 90 minutes today. Going to be a  kind of day, I think.

There's another picture I could have linked, but I think it might be too crude even for teh Box. No nudity, but it concerns a guy, a world atlas, and a jar of Vaseline.

Maybe, but if that's true, then I must be getting old. I didn't see half the action most of you all did.

Free nights are free nights, just like free flights on Air Tran are free flights!! ;)

Plus if someone pushes another "good" fare to NRT, I will be all over the Conrad for a few days again!! :)
