Good does go around.

^. We're w/ Liberty Mutual. Our insurance expires at the end of the month. We'll see how much the insurance goes up or down.

State Farm will not take any "inexperienced drivers" so I couldn't use there better rates. Oldest had 6 perfect years of driving, and was able to switch to SF then a broken windshield and an at fault accident and was promptly dropped.:(

That is who I use but my home owners part just went up at least 20% and yes, I've never had a claim:rolleyes:

We have both home and auto w/ them. We made a claim on the homeowners due to Ike. We'll see what happens. :rolleyes:

Guess you'll be fine since I got my bill first to keep LM's profit margin where it should be:D

Insurance is :rolleyes:.

We have GEICO. I've been trying to ditch them for years now, but they consistently beat out everyone else...even Flo. In fact, we just got our new policy and they lowered our rate by $40 over the six-month term. ^

Man, I was thinking that there could not possibly be a MLB team worse than the DisAstros, but yeah...there are actually two. :rolleyes:

I shudder to think what I will deal with if we ever have a claim. :eek:

Thought of you at BBQ Thursday today. If you're ever free on Thursday around lunch time, we go to Rudy's on 183 @ Duval.

I have an affinity for State Farm even though I have to go with GEICO as a BRKB shareholder; the former funded my National Merit Scholarship so many years ago.

Since I now have a parking spot, I looked into getting a car but first checked out insurance rates. Most carriers wanted $3,000+/yr since I evidently forgot how to drive when I moved to NY 2 years ago. I cant justify having a car and paying 3k a year when I might use it 2 weekends a month. Until then, I have rented out my parking spot to subsidize my insurance when I am forced to get a car (ie. have kids). Hopefully that will not happen for a few years.

If one doesn't have a car, this is a most excellent idea ^

Ahh... my Geico story. So middle daughter (let's just say crash) that I took off my policy after a bad history of cell-phone and driving got a very favorable Geico rate. Needless to say another crash - all alone on the NJ Tpke with a subcompact car becoming a very ultra subcompact. Only one visible injury where her forehead hit and she was having seizures as a result of the head trauma. Never had any preexisting condition yet Geico refused to pay a cent unless I spent $25 to challenge every itemized hospital bill, retained a lawyer and went to court. So my moral is "ya might just get what you pay for"

Sorry. It was miserable here all day. The sun just came out after 4 days of dark, dreary, rain.

I've taken that class 5 times.:rolleyes::eek:;)

Purely for pre-emptive insurance savings.

LOL. Me, too. I've never had one in the twelve years we've had the policy.
