Someone talk me out of converting my 65k SPG points to AA. This would get me half way to 1mm. Flying on AA for the next 3 years along with switching to their credit card would get me to lifetime Gold. I understand that MM program based on RDMs could go away at any time.

ETA: Nevermind, I was thinking PC points were $30 for 10,000. Then it was a good deal but not at $30 for 5,000... :(

I just checked F and J prices to MUC, to be sure there wasn't something tastier that FC was latching onto...

I looked at it, but once I consider positioning costs to NYC and onward flights from LIM to somewhere else, it isn't as great a deal.
