I take it she is that sort of 'relationship manager' right?

I got so fed up trying to explain how a database works that I asked what her background was. I told her it was wonderful that she would be organizing the training but pointed out there would be no one left in the company that knew how to use it very soon.

I didn't get a full night's sleep either. I stayed up and listened to Knopfler movie scores.

This morning I learned that, while he could well afford to stay home in London playing with his kids, he's in the middle of a tour that started in Seattle, and gets as far east as Poland.

So, in honor of that effort, this. And I'm going to get back to working.

Hey now, think of the positive. Maybe she was revolted by the Philly Roll because it's not Real sushi? :D^

I'd introduce people to sushi with good old California rolls (even though they're an American invention, too) since the (fake) crab is cooked and the rice hides the nori from people. For follow up I'd go with egg sushi and cooked shrimp sushi, just to get use to the while texture thing. Then move onto salmon or tuna since their flavors are fairly mild (again, it's more about texture).

I will be out of town; otherwise, I would love to meet you for lunch/dinner/etc.

Center City north of South Street and south of Arch is generally pretty OK wherever you go. I'm not very fond of the area by the Marriott, but that has more to do with the lack of anything interesting to do other than the Reading Terminal Market.

I'm in. My wife doesn't eat sushi, and I am encouraged not to eat it in her presence (so I end up eating it on the road; there's a good place in Beverly Hills that I always order from when out in LA). Unfortunately, it may be late July before the Great Sushi Expedition to South Jersey, given my  schedule.

I find it strange that in such a well-traveled and diverse group as Teh Box that tuna creates such a stink.

I am a big fan of tuna served raw or very lightly seared. I am not a big fan of tuna served in a can.

I arrived DCA yesterday about this time and the place was jammed. Security lines snaked out around the rats maze and it looked like Grand Central Station at rush hour on the CO-DL side.

I have never seen this. Occasionally for the early morning  flights out of A you'll see the line back up for check-in, but I've never seen a long security line in B or C.

In other news, after the heavens openen up in OKC yesterday and cancelled my flight home, I decided to head to the airport early and try to stand by rather than take the 2:40 flight on which I was re-scheduled.

Stand-by denied. Bars opened at 10. I think we all know what comes next...:D

This is my stance on tuna, as well. ^

Darn it! Why didn't I do that. The guy next to me had his feet up on the bulkhead with is shoes on. He was not a very considerate person. he took up all of the middle armrest with his papers and his drinks (1 glass wine, 1 glass water , 1 glass baileys on ice - all at once).

Sadly, I did not develop audacious and unmitigated.... darn it.

Nope! And I cannot get into 2.0 to read about it. I keep getting "Internal Server Error" when I try to load the page.

Such was the spot where CO 1E, belynch and I broke bread. We went to Maggiano's and ended up at a bar by the convention center, IIRC.

Works for me. My days off are returning to consistency this week thanks to the fourth member of my team coming back from vacation.

Agree. Tuna in a can or pouch serves the purpose of mixing into something else very well, and that's how I eat it. I won't open a can and pick on it by itself. That sounds too much like eating cat food.
