Let me know next time you're coming. Don't tell your brother that you have ideas for restaurants. At the end of the trip, admit that you got fed ideas from an area resident.

Like Japanese/Sushi? Ever been here? It's in Collingswood. I give it 2 ^!:D

Were you at the Hyatt Princeton? I heard that hotel had some "issues" while the Morristown property (where I stayed Friday) was lovely.

If that's , you don't want to hear about a trip I took on behalf of the State of Maryland that took us through East Orange, NJ.

The craziness was what made it tolerable. I knew every time that I left the Ritz-Carlton that I would see something between there and the parking garage that would make me want to shoot at someone.

Fixed? That's how I felt everyday I was forced to go into the city - whether it was Center City, the 'hood, South Philly... pretty much anywhere and everywhere in the city, with a couple of exceptions.

I stayed near BWI on Fri. Worst free b'fast ever and that is where the bathroom door didn't close which happened in that config to be in direct visual of the door.

In Delduhware, the homeless walk past the hotel and take the extinguished cigarettes from the garbage cans in the driveway. They squeeze out the unburned stuff and roll their own. That's probably an eons-old trick, but I'd only seen it there. Made me  the first time someone explained it to me.

In order: yes, no, and I'll have to try it.

The home of Catch a Rising Star has hotel operations problems?

You seem to be channeling me tonight.

I also think staying at the Marriott in Philly on the subway wing ever really high up is like getting a bed and not investing the quarter:eek:

I'm off to bed. Going to this park in downtown Houston later today with the little one to let her run in the water fountains. I may just run w/ her, to cool myself down in this pea soup weather.

I normally walk all around Philly even at night. My former boss told me was not such a wise thing to do.

I think some people are just too uptight :D
Even some boxers.

I really liked philly, the people were actually really friendly. I expected raging morons spewing hate or something like I see on a phl football game. Maybe my goals were so low the experience was good.

then again I took walks through overtown in Miami, and I'd be hardpressed to finad anyone to join me in that to this day.
I really don't mind 'hard' 'mean' 'ghetto' areas.
