Good Morning Everyone.

I still haven't been to bed yet. It's not because I was working late, I just couldn't fall asleep so I finally gave up.

Since I only have two things that I have to do today: get my son to his soccer match at 5:30pm and be at work by 7:30pm, I should be able to take a (hopefully) very long nap later this morning.

Should only take $375K spend at 1K EQMs per $5000 charged.

I am bothered. I opened the TalkMail newsletter, which I normally enjoy reading, and found this:

With these tools, and a little perserverance, you'll soon be proudly proclaiming "DYKWIA?" the next time you're offered a voucher for a VDB.
I don't care if it is intended as a joke. The last thing this joint needs is quasi-official encouragement toward boosting one's personal sense of entitlement.

WWBD

Changed honeymoon flights around yesterday as mentioned in teh box. I was expecting another 40,000 miles to be deducted from my account now that we're going over in F. Deduction hasn't happened yet. Itinerary is saying "ticketed and confirmed" but I've been burned by that previously.

I know the woman helping me yesterday was having a  time getting the system to process what she was doing and had to manually calculate stuff. She eventually just gave up on the taxes and said "whatever you paid for the first go-around is close enough."

Do I potentially upset the apple cart and ask CO to double-check that I'm ticketed and confirmed (I didn't receive an emails, but it is updated on co.com)? I'm thinking 40,000 miles is worth peace of mind...

Thoughts?

Teh mom had an issue with ticket sync after an itinery change about 2 weeks ago, when I called to get it fixed the agent could not assign her seats in BF because they were 0'd out, her suggestion was "oh they will fix it at the airport and if there are no BF seats she would ride in coach and get her miles back"

If you're thinking this, then you should probably go ahead and do it. Presumably you were willing to spend those miles anyway when you changed your ticket. No amount of miles would be worth getting to the airport on the :rolleyes:moon and finding you have no ticket.

Make sure the tickets are booked in O for all applicable segments. I encountered a similar issue, where I asked to booked in First but was ticketed in biz. Hung up, called back, and got the correct cabin.

If you do not already have them, get the PNRs from the other carriers and look up your reservations in the other carriers' systems. As others have stated, you need to be booked in O, except on your intra-European segment where you will be in business instead of F.
