Note to self: If I divorce someone, let someone else know so they can't pull the plug on me

Not here... yet.

Rained some here in Nacogdoches earlier. Wish it had lasted longer though.

Know your pain. Did it while in college working on PhD. Not fun!!

I will have my first flight in/out of DAL. I've never flown in or out of HOU.

I have done both on SWA and CA outta DAL. Did HOU in 1997!!

I'm still rather proud of my IAH-HOU segment in 2000 on a CO 733 with only about 8 other passengers on board. The safety video (it was a 733 with the overhead CRT monitors) took longer than the flight.

LOL, I did the IAH-EfD-IAH instead of HOU due to a converance at the UH Hilton.

Looks like flight number 1,000 for me will happen on Monday, August 9. Route will be DCA-IAH. It could happen a little sooner, depending on if I take any connecting flights on work trips between now and then, or on the very slim chance I book a personal trip.

Awesome milestone coming!!

While my overall average flight length is 775 this year I am at a little over 1K in average length!! I am working hard to over come that short stage length!! :)

So close and yet so far...

I had resolved this year not to overcommit myself, yet it is 1:45 am and I am working.

My average is only 741. I have hundreds of flights that are shorter than 500 miles. Hopefully it will creep up a few miles this year now that my weekly work flights are just over 1,200 miles each way. But I'd have to do major amounts of long-haul flying to really make a dent in my average flight length.
