My mom didn't drink wine for two weeks when she was sick; I told her wine was a natural cough suppressant!

Small strip of grass along the Hudson + sun + a couple hundred NYCers = nice afternoon.

^ + 'beverages', I assume!;):D

No "beverages" for me. At least not yet. No so recommended in public parks without appropriate planning. I'll just enjoy the sights a bit more and then head off for lunch. Plus I have no sunscreen, which is dangerous on a day like this.

Truly a beautiful day.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Only the 3rd day for a/c? I believe we're on day 70.

My problem is that the combination of sun, already-woozy head & cough could lead to me passing out! So, I am just going to concentrate on keeping hydrated!

I'll rub it in when you are in the middle of winter and we're in the middle of nice weather.:-:

:( those days will indeed come, and be numerous...

Graduation was lovely. Of course we were all roasting in the regalia, but it was a beautiful day and a very nice ceremony. Lots of talented and awesome kids in this class; I'll miss them...

Off to collect sister #2 from Princeton reunions (which allegedly holds records for all sorts of bacchanalian categories and drive her up to Bernardsville, NJ. Maybe I'll make her drive so I can continue to crank out the grade comments.

bl jr is packing for our trip - which isn't for another week +. She's packed various stuff and is now packing for Belle (yes, that's a doll) and so far has packed her stroller, play pen and car seat. I see the bad packing gene has been passed on.

Most pit graduations are held indoors. Toyota and Reliant stadium are very busy during this time.

And this is why I don't live in TX anymore and refuse to even visit between Easter and Halloween. Of course, I'm violating that and will be in SAT baking in late-June

Not the word I would have chosen, but NYC can be nice this time of year

My HS graduation was in Hoffienz (sp?) Pavilion on the UH campus. UT's convocation is held outdoors as there is no indoor place large enough to hold it.

mnmag May 30, 2010 11:55 am

Am trying to get motivated to go to the graduation party  -- son is still hangin' out, as his bands' recording session has been pushed back a bit!
