Good news about the pay/benefits; bad news about missing the retiree medical. Any way to negotiate that?

Nope, even though 10 yrs service + being 55 will gives it to you an extra 25 years+ of service doesn't help a bit.

My last interview for a job I wanted was in 1977 (which I got). I had another within the company a few years later (which I got) but negotiated a 17% pay raise so they would keep me in my current dept. I've had a dozen job promotions or more within the group I'm currently in and never had a resume or an interview! Honestly I don't have a clue on how the rest of the world works:eek:

Thanks! I've never really decided what I want to do. I seem to have started on a path long ago and never fallen off. If travel isn't in my future equation I'm not being true to myself.
