The worst one was falling asleep at an all night Planet of the Apes marathon at the local drive-in. I borrowed the parents car since my defrosters didn't work. I really was just bored and tired!

:eek: I never had a party when my parent were away simply because A)I did respect my parents and B) my best friend had parties when her parents were away and it always turned out very, very bad. 1 time she had people eliminating themselves on their walls, another time a drunk boy wrecked her new car (that she allowed him to drive) and she had to take the blame. It was very, very dark and I was glad not to be her.

I have one night there at $59.50 a night - decided to fly in a day early to meet up with best friend and his family, so I don't get reimbursed for that night.

Aside from Hyatt, any recommendations for another chain with a current decent hotel promotion? I locked in my $99 rate in Boston many months ago for two days but decided to fly in a day early - not going to spend $200+ (even for a Hyatt stay).

Hilton has stay 4-get 1 or double points. SPG has stay 3-get 1. Priority Club has double points starting with the second stay.

None of those are as good as Hyatt, but they might be useful.

IANAL, but I've 'd my way through many threads regarding image rights on photo forums.

Since CM took the picture, he holds the copyright. Since colpuck is the subject of the photo, Copa would require a model release from colpuck to make use of the photo. The good news is that there is no CO imagery visible in the photo.

My release is contingent upon Cmike refusing CALMEC any usage rights and enforcing that to the fullest extent of copyright law.

g'day box. Just thought I'd stop in for a moment.

In case anyone is thinking of staying at the Hyatt Rochester, let me go ahead and save you the trouble. It's significantly .

Fixin' to be a Canucktastic week this week. Up to BUF for a meeting, then driving a German up to Toronto for more meetings. I've built two hours into our schedule for the border crossing alone. Should be rather  inducing.

I believe these are correct. Of course, the two of them could backdate a few documents and split the  50/50. Another thing to note is that if the image is not registered with the feds then the judgment value from a victory is based on the potential resale value - in other words, nothing. If you register it then you can sue based on the per incident $$$$$ rate. That's where the real money is. :-:

My grill ran out of gas tonight. About 30 seconds after I tossed the salmon on. Gotta plan a trip out to Brooklyn now to get it refilled. It fits nicely in my 22" TravelPro so that I can carry it easily on the subway.

colpuck May 16, 2010 7:34 pm

Ahh people have the read the box and responded.

Wine glass that holds an entire bottle: Attention, winos! Is that trip back and forth to the wine bottle to refill your glass just getting to be too much of a hassle? Check out this glass that holds an entire bottle of wine... because drinking straight out of the bottle is so not classy.

best invention ever.
