g'day box.

Something tells me I'm going to be spending a disproportionate amount of time today convincing our group's admin that I shouldn't stay at the of the Gaylord :rolleyes:land hotel, despite the conference I'm attending being held there.

4. How to Win/Winner Determination: Once you decipher the clue(s) to determine the hotel location, the first ten (10) eligible participants each day to provide a front desk associate at the correct hotel with the following phrase, "I'm here for my Free Weekends Passport photo" will win a prize. You must provide your own transportation to/from the correct hotel location. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. You must also agree to have your photograph taken at the front desk when claiming your prize.
It's kind of difficult to get to Toronto today to win the prize... ;) I would imagine the chances of having a place in NJ are pretty slim.

Morning, Box.

The job site I'm at now is a 40 mile commute from home, so I've taken to podcasts for my drive home. I've got a fairly entertaining morning show I listen to, but the drive home is either music or podcasts. Car Talk, This American Life, etc.

I should mention this to the s/o. He likes to go fishing. I don’t know why, but the s/o is very leery of south/central American travel. I have to be very careful and introduce safe, clean resort towns such as PVR and ACA before I can hit him with Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Peru and Rio. :-:

Costa Rica? That's odd. You should tell him that Costa Rica hasn't had a standing army since 1949, and has had a stable democratic government since ~1950, making it the oldest, most stable country in Latin America, along with the a high standard of living for the region. A banana republic, it ain't. :-:

My wife unfortunately has gestational diabetes, so she's (and by extension me) been on a controlled-carb diet. She's formulating a list of foods I will need to bring to the hospital that she can have after the delivery. A proper bagel, chocolates, etc.

Interesting that I found ticket stubs, the other day, from the 2001 AA flight that pushed me off them for(mostly) ever. Lost Bags-still hoping they find them and IDB on trip back. Good part about finding those old stubs-2 new lines

I know, getting to Toronto will be a pain, but if the clues are for the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel & Conference Center, Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, The Westin Governor Morris Morristown, Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel, Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel, The Westin Jersey City Newport, W Hoboken, Sheraton Edison Hotel Raritan Center or any on the NYC locations, I think we should all car pool. ^

A NYC location is very likely

Sorry, should have clarified. It's not the epicenter of the Gaylord 'ness. It's the one in DFW. Even more  if you ask me.

They have been for about a month now. I just got the reminder email this a.m. I'm actually surprised no one else has jumped on the :rolleyes:wagon.

The Westin Governor Morris has some history to it, so I could see them having enough clues for that property. It's only about 15 minutes from here, so I'd jump in my car pretty quickly.

Yup, and it is working so badly for them that this is actually the second time they've sent out the mass mailing trying to drum up business with it. Pretty depressing for an airlines when you're the only one offering across-the-board DEQM and DRDM and no one seems to care.
