Any fútbol fans out there? Looks like Man U will play in YYZ, PHL, MCI, and HOU.^ In HOU, they're going to play in the MLS All-Star game. They will play against the best the MLS has to offer. I think a couple of 'Box fútbol DOs will need to be held.@:-)

So...I just want to get it straight...am I driving down to Philly tomorrow night or not? I was also supposed to meet up with a friend who's in town for an interview, but it just got pushed back to Monday, so in any case I'd have to make two trips. And I'm not around next weekend. If there is something going on tomorrow night, that would be awesome, but if not, that's fine.

Went 1-2 in racquetball today - as poorly as I played the first two games, that was an accomplishment to eke out the final win.

Another young person (15) from my town just died as a result of a car crash in a place it would seem nearly impossible on a nice day to have this happen. It's a rather small H.S. and surviving inexperienced driving has been the hardest lesson here. So many needless deaths and I have personal experience with my kids as passengers/drivers in very scary accidents. It just makes me so:(:(:(

It might be better than finding the tux and realizing you can't button it:D
I found a guy who rented me one for pickup tomorrow for just over $100. Not the best, but way better than I could have done.

Are you a participant or a guest? If the latter, ^ - there are precious few black-tie-dress-code weddings these days, at least in my sphere, and it's a shame. I can't do it for mine because it's summer and too early in the day, alas.

CPH and OSL are under $400 out of EWR as well. Some very nice deals...
ETA: Beware, these are LH L fares which don't appear to earn miles with CO. |

It's very sad. Inexperience and too many distractions.
Very good article from Auto Week below. http://www.driverinteractive.com/Lic...utoWeekarticle When I learned to drive it was a stick shift, no power steering, brakes and a crappy am radio so I think you really did focus on the road and even though my car didn't have any safety features other than a really primative seatbelt I don't recall anyone ever being seriously hurt an an accident and back then the drinking age was 18! I can't even recall anyone actually totalling a car. I really think it's the dreaded cell phone and I've yet to see a kid get in a car and turn it off:mad: |

When last we left the story Mackieman asked me if I was a glutton for punishment for setting my mother's start page to Welcome to Internet.
I got this email tonight and it was too good not to share: To: Copa From: Madre de Copa pls explain if you can: whenever I.turn on the computer and go to the "e" shortcut on my wallpaper and click,.I get this loud noise and the computer yells "IN-TER-NET!!!!",I want comcast.. I have to type in www.comcast.net in the top bar and I will get it but this is really weird.. A black screen comes up with the word INTERNET across the middle. Any idea? Thanks Forwarded said email to my fiancee and she snorted. Epic win. Now the question is how long I can go without answering. |
