If it's during the daytime it's a great choice but they close early.

Early dinners serve as fuel for barhopping. Appetizers at said bars keep the fire burning. :D

I so want to go there, but I know I'd get ill from the altitude (unless I brought my own oxygen).

Yeah, but not this year or next. I've been making extremely good headway against debt, and with getting married and talk of house shopping, hotel hopping isn't high on the list.

I recall my only hotel trip the year I got married was a $17/night stay at a dive on Lake George. Fortunately the X broke his arm that year at work so workman's comp paid for the trip to Bermuda the following year:D

I was surprised to see so many people in traditional garb. I'd say easily 40% of the women I saw were wearing such clothes.

If I go back to the altiplano, I will be sure to make a much slower ascent (will have to budget a lot more time), and to pack altitude pills. Cusco was noticeably worse than Teotihuacan, and it's a good 2,500ft lower than El Alto.

There is a good pub that has an entrance across from the Reading market which used to be called Ben Franklin's brew pub although the name recently changed. Now that sounds intriguing! :)

I have the rest of this year, and the priority is keeping *G. Since we have switched to a honeymoon destination for which paying for air is a reasonable idea, I'm building miles for Asia or Eastern Europe in F.

Thank you. I think I spent the next 20 mins after that photo lying on the bed, flopping around a bit, and gasping for air. I was afraid that if there was a turndown service, they might mistake me for a merman and attempt to release me back into teh lake.

That's a good thing since an explosion in the mermaid population might upset the ecosystem:D

Good evening Box.

Good news: I got 5000 BA points for adding my dog as an authorized user to my CC account.

Bad news: Stupid #$%! Turbo Tax wouldn't let me E-file, so I had to mail it in. Yeah, I'm getting a refund...

When Evo is onboard, they find a guy with a cutting torch to make it so.
