Dublin>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Limerick (closest city to SNN). The Dingle Peninsula is cool, as are the Cliffs of Mohr, but otherwise the left coast of Ireland is a wasteland. Trying to base yourself there and do day trips sucks.

I enjoyed my trip to Dublin. Friendly people and good sights to see.

Did either of you rent a car or was everything within walking distance from a HH or SPG hotel :)?

We would leave Thursday night and come back Sunday. 2 days on the ground but thats about all the time we have. Wife doesnt get paid vacation because her employer sucks and I have limited vacation.

Yes and no

(this is not legal advise)

1. It reads like if there is a breach of contract your damages are limited.
2. For tort actions, it doesn't sound like it limits your liability.

Generally boilerplate liability waivers do more to scare off potential litigants then actually waive liability.

Either way it sounds like if you are really concerned you should consult an attorney who in the state where the venue is located.

Thank you, sir. It's her parents that are concerned.

I was in a youth hostel and a college dorm for my trip to Ireland. (son's soccer team) We took city buses everywhere or walked. I have zero idea where these hotels are located so I can't help you there.

You can take the Circle Dublin Tour bus. For one price you make the stops at all the sights in Dublin. Get on and off as much as you want. I was told that the prison stop/tour was interesting but we were out of time. The Guinness "factory" is on this tour-a very popular stop.

If you want to get out of town to see the coastal sights you could rent a car or take a bus tour. Remember they do drive on the other side.

Back from my NYC day. I worked in office from about 10:30 to 5:15 and then went to dinner when we were congratulated for making senior management. Good dinner with lots of alcohol.

Day highlight: U Cincinnati cheerleaders were having a meeting in the hallway directly outside of my room when I came back before dinner. I walked through about 12 young ladies to get to my room. Hyatt never gave me that, athough I still have a crappy, small room...

No office time tomorrow. I will sleep in and get to Wall St. by lunchtime.

I know there are people around here who can't bring themselves to utter a single good word about any product made by Apple, but I dare anyone to say that in terms of free, out-of-the-box video editing software, iMovie does not beat the  out of Windows Live Movie Maker. Ugh, what a pain that was. I don't even think I managed to work up a decent fade out at the end.

Up early tomorrow for DCA-CLE-PHL...

Who's up for drinks in Houston tomorrow night?

Movie Maker is bare bones minimum. I don't think you can actually cut frames out with that program. I use much higher level stuff than that program but I was forced to use it when Adobe stopped talking to my video camera.

Business Class
PVG-ICN-JFK on OZ
OR
PVG-NRT-EWR CA/CO

FWIW I would like to return into EWR, and I am already flying OZ on the outbound.

I'm hoping I qualified for the Priority Club Luckiest Loser bonus, as I just burned my way down to 35,000 HiltonHHonors points and need to see some back-up balance (not Hyatt) increase rapidly.

So, at my dinner tonight, I talked to one of my LA coworkers and she asked me what else I liked to do. We ended up on travel and my ability to get upgrades, etc. She was very interested and told me she would love to get more information on doing what I do. She flys mostly Continental.

I told her about FT and she told me to send her links to the site. I think she may be a good candidate for teh Box given her Continental bent and ability to chit chat. We just don't have enough Asian women posting here, as far as I am concerned.

I checked out the locations of the HH or SPG hotels and they are in town and near Trinity College. Tons of buses run by so you can get to any where you want to. Temple Bar area is a back street location of the bars in the area. Lots of college kids and younger adults are there.
