In other news, LGA - IAH - SNA B fares are runnin' in the mid $300's. Not sure if that's viable for you MR'ers but being in confirmed F the whole way isn't a bad way to go. :-:

Those SNA B fares are non-refundable according to the fare rules. Still a pretty good deal for a good run in F. |

A. My dislike of US is well-known - remember the "lost e-ticket". Besides, what airline flies a regional jet from MEM-PHX, announces the flight will take even longer due to the plane being flown by hand at FL 29 to comply with federal law for an inoperable auto-pilot, and food offerings consisting of booze, water, and potato chips (only one variety) in the lounge at lunchtime? I would be so ticked if I had paid for a membership or entry to that  B. An elbow to a foot on an armrest is within icurhere2's framework. "Take it off or I'll break it off" is specifically in my vocabulary. So now get your butt in gear and knock out some SkyMiles for the team. We need your contribution. ;) |

This article appeared yesterday in the NY Times and really stoked up thoughts of maybe another stop in AUS. :)
I got hungry reading it and now will run downstairs to reheat some leftover Chinese for dinner. |
I don't know if I passed over an answer from one of the locals. But, when does wildflower season begin in Hill Country? This year, we're taking photog72 jr for pictures among the bluebonnets and other wildflowers. I saw some nice fields along 290 near Brenham, so as not to go too far from Houston.
