Hi Boxers. Just signing in from your territory down here in Houston. On way to Miami. I'm the one sitting back here in the corner at the Pres. Club. Not much time left here but? I DID find some sun, none of that rain and snow stuff everyone else has been talking about. Bwahahahahah

Oh dear. You may regret offering your help ....:p I have managed to call VErizon and get it set up, so now it is "my" phone. I now have to figure out how to use it!
I have been playing with it for half an hour and the one thing that I already do not like is the fact that I cannot seem to pinch and zoom like I can on my iTouch. You have to double tap to enlarge, and it doesn't increase in size anywhere near as much as the iTouch does. For someone like me with failing reading eyesight that's a big :td: because it means I have to have my reading glasses on, whereas on the iTouch I can enlarge it up the wazoo. :( |

But when they end up in emergency rooms with zero health insurance and more critical injuries than they otherwise would have had they been wearing a seat belt and then they depend on my tax dollars to pay for their enormous health care bills I think that it is OK to tell them what to do.
My decision is economic, not compassionate. |

Hopefully updates will come to fix that soon, but not sure, if this is a big issue, the Palm route may be best when you are in your return period (30 days)
That being said, keep it this weekend and give it a legit shot, you may end up liking it! We talked about the pinch to zoom quite a bit here the last pages, and it is working on the new 'google phone' Nexus One with current updates, but not yet on other models in the US. Droid supports multi touch, it just is not enabled in apps like browser, maps, etc. |

Can I have the Nexus One on Verizon? I googled it and it looks a lot like the Droid in terms of icons, etc.

Yawn. I was spending too much time trying to catch up on the box doing since about 11 PM EST yesterday I had to give up. So I'll do a blanket ,, ^, :td:, :), :(, and good luck what ever has conspired since that time.

Presentations tonight...really cute brunette inspired the posting of the Blond Song lyric thanks to persistent Valley Girl disease, with an average of one "like" per sentence.

Get well soon, amigo. I've heard beaches and mai tais are generally an effective cure. I'm also not qualified to be a physician, even by the most lax accreditation standards of dubious Caribbean medical schools. :-: |
Stupid YouTube comment on one of my videos. Video is titled "Northwest Airline 757-200 taking off from Fargo" Video shows a pretty plane with a red tail that says Northwest. Comment says "who flew 757s to Fargo, and from where!" I don't know, may be NORTHWEST? and they only fly to MSP non stop.

Pinch to zoom should be activated on that device very soon.

Not yet, but a CDMA version for Verizon is due out before too long. Current device is GSM only, and works with T-Mobile or AT&T, but is 3G on T-Mobile only.

I had no idea that Spain was separated from Europe by the "Pie-re-knees" mountains.
