Just checked in (well, about two hours ago) for tomorrows flight, first time as SE. EliteAccess is recognized, but there are two problems:
- I'm being limited to one free bag (I booked in Aug) and 50# each. - As a SE, I didn't expect to get the upgrade, but I am not on the standby list for the initial segment. The second segment should clear as an upgrade in an hour or so, but I'm thinking it won't clear me. The OP rep made it sound like I wouldn't need to remove and readd my OP number. Any thoughts on what could be wrong? |

You shouldn't be charged for the bags - they should notice your status at the airport. As to the upgrades, I'd call co.com support asap and have them check into it.
If there is an issue when the second segment processes, then I'll call again. Otherwise, I figure it can all be taken care of at the airport. |
Minor issue, but it might be larger than I realize:
The PDA site shows all MDT-EWR aircraft as Beech 1900s. The seat map on the PDA site agrees with the seat selection tool (and the actual aircraft used on this route) which is the Q200. I noticed this when flying the route recently, and just plugged in a few flights on random days & they all show as B1900 on the PDA site. I know, it won't affect much, if anything, but I was excited when I checked the PDA site and saw the AC was the B1900. I was somewhat disappointed when I got to the gate & saw the Q200. |
Called co.com support last night when my upgrade didn't clear. 20 min later, they couldn't fix it and told me that I can fix it when I check-in at BWI. Flight 1527, I'm fine that I'm not up, but I should be on the list. Flight 150, there are 20 seats, 7 booked. There should be a checkmark next to a SOO, N. I see nothing.
They said it was something about the flight being sold out and thus the web system wouldn't display my upgrade. But, I should have appeared on the list and it shouldn't have Available listed on the flight standby list. I'm going to be really frustrated if this doesn't get sorted out. |
Caution: reservations is grabbing the wrong class:
Searched ewr-lhr (r/t) 12/7-12/12, BF. Clicked on CO28 for the 7th (showed, "D"). Selected CO111 for the 12th ("Z"). Was wondering why the price dropped so dramatically from the first selection page... but hey, you never know... On the final page, CO28 shows booked into "M". Ouch... no warnings. Someone not paying attention could end up rather displeased - non refundable, wrong cabin. Seatcounter shows 9 J and 4 D for CO28. I saved screenshots for co.com support. Also reporting to co.com support. |
In the reservations setting on the homepage, the default setting for number of adults seems randomly to be either 0 or 1. It is helpful for it to be 1, because when it is 0, the website will give an error message, and require an extra step if you didn't notice it before providing flight info.

Homepage now remembers your last flight search and date.
If last search dates < today's date and User completes OnePass Sign In and clicks sign in button Page loads with red error message Only dates between Nov. 24, 2008 and October... appears underneath middle and right column and extends beyond right margin. |
Re - PDA site
Hello: The pda site for CO does now show my name on the u/g list even though there are several seats open. Called elite desk (they had no idea why this is happening). Then, connected to co.com support...they had no idea either. On the whole, the pda site seems to have plenty of problems. Although, i sincerely believe that CO goes strictly by its rules on u/g's, this just raises doubts.
Also, earlier in this thread, I had reported problems with trying to ticket with ZFV (Philadelphia 30th street Amtrak station) as the starting airport. This problem started since co.com was updated. The co.com support staff had no clue why this was happening either. Basically , they said they will "report" the problem to someone. Dont know who else they can report to, when they are the electronic support staff? |
A multitude of problems with co.com pricing a multi leg trip. ARGH!

The boarding pass I got after doing OLCI this morning says "Added to BusinessFirst standby list". This is for a domestic flight on a 753.

missing nyc search
The ability to use NYC as an airport code seems to have disappeared. This was very useful when I was trying to plan an itenerary to compare options out of the different NYC airports on CO.

OLCI Problem: Upgraded at 3-day mark, but asked about upgrade at check-in
Strange issue tonight using OLCI. I was upgraded for my 11/26 flight at the 3-day mark, but when I checked in I was asked the "If an upgrade is available, would you like it?" question. I selected "yes" even though I had already been upgraded, and I got the "The elite upgrade is not available at this time. You've been placed on the standby list." message. But my seat (in first class) and the upgrade fare code (F) were still there. I could understand getting this question if I had multiple legs, but I'm just on one flight. I've never experienced this before, and all's well (I have my BP, I still have the upgrade), but just wanted to report the bug!

Some in-flight amenity info not the same at pda.continental.com vs. continental.com
I think it's great that all the info from pda.continental.com is now available through the "regular" continental.com, but I've noticed a few discrepancies.
Perhaps the co.com team can take this example and uncover a bug... CO 330 EWR-RDU on Wed, Nov. 26 Departs EWR at 2:45 PM pda.continental.com says... Complimentary Food Beverage service (time permitting) continental.com flight info says... Complimentary Food: First Class: Dinner Main Cabin: Light Snack Clearly the pda site is correct-- it's a short flight and it's not during a meal time. However, if John Q. Public was using the "regular" website and saw dinner in F or a light snack in Y, he might be upset when he found out that wasn't the case... Incidentally, the info for CO 445, the 6:45 PM EWR-RDU flight, is the same on the pda and regular sites. Go figure. |
The 'Inactive' tab on the new co.com is great. However, once a previous cancelled res is reused, the reservation is listed in the Active and the Inactive tabs.
Once a res is rebooked, it should be moved out of the Inactive tab. |
