Problem with New Site re: City Codes
When entering an airport in a flight search field, it is no longer possible to enter NYC to cover all New York Airports. You have to enter either EWR, JFK, or LGA. Same for London; no more LON. And entering "Search nearby airports" doesn't work either. I tried searching for a RT from EWR to LHR. Virgin codeshare flights to JFK are not shown unless specifically entering JFK.

Not sure it's co.com...
My wife received a mailed statement after waitlisting for a mileage upgrade (intl copay + miles)..
Statement reported the underlying ticket price & taxes in GBP and USD; the miles; but not the additional taxes or copay. Also, towards the bottom, the currencies switched... i.e: Fare 400 GBP = 650 USD <not real #s> Taxes... etc... Total: 400 USD (should be GBP). Online, the #'s are correct (but attempting to view the receipt generates an error). The #'s online don't however, include the copay. |
PDA site checkin - no auto checkin for return?
I checked in using the PDA site. I was not offered and did not receive the auto checkin for my return. Is that the correct behavior?

Unable to check fares from ZFV (Philly Amtrak station)
Hello. I have posted this issue in the Amtrak/CO thread as well. however, I am not getting replies. I am unable to check fares from ZFV. I have to use PHL or EWR now. However, as is well known, ZFV offers cheaper fares at times. Anyone else having this issue?

I think CO thinks this feature is no longer necessary because of the include airports within x miles check box. The checkbox does not, however, include the nearby airports in a common results screen. I think they sould bring LON and NYC back. I also think they should add a few others that I've seen on other sites: QHO = IAH, HOU & EFD QDF = DFW & DAL QLA = LA Area RGV = Rio Grande Valley But thats a lot of thinking for this early in the morning. |
It appears that fares in the reservations screens for next year are missing the 500 mile minimum for elites. Instead, they show actual mileage.

All of my account information has been zero'd out. :(

I can not view either my or my wife's account. The system will not accept our passwords when the correct account # is entered.

I think they just screwed up. (1) to use the "within x miles" check box, you have to go to advanced search which is a pain if not necessary for other reasons, (2) the "within x miles" doesn't work. (3) a city code (ie. NYC) does work once you make the initial search and you're in Select a Flight screen, (4) and other search engines (KVS, Expedia) use city codes all the time, |

For several weeks I've had a number of issues from logging in to credit card stuff for which I have reported. Yesterday a web agent told me they are busy with a number of issues, like credit card problems -some are more important than others. |

I am forced to log in first on the home page, then proceed to create my itinerary. It is a work a round but initially I may just be doing a quick check for someone on the telephone then if they decide to buy I have to start over if I want to access my passengers list and credit card lists. A small pain that I have been told CO web team knows about. |
I should have mentioned this when I booked them, rather than now that I'm dealing with getting ready for our Thanksgiving flights this weekend, but there is an ETC issue that I'm wondering about.
The missus and I had two ETCs (one each) that we wanted to use to book for our flight. I set up the itin, and tried to enter the two codes, but only one would take. When I separated the PNRs, we still had some hiccups. co.com support took care of getting the ETCs applied. It wasn't an issue at the time, since I didn't realize that the time you could split the PNR later for EUA purposes (I don't even know if CO had said we could do when I booked in August), and we really don't plan on more than 2 suitcases at 70#, but next time.... |
Disapearing Segments
This has been mentioned under another thread but I think it's worth including in this thread where it might better receive attention of CO's programmers (or am I being assuming too much?).
My wife had a two month old milage award reservation EWR-CDG-NCE with a CDG-EWR return. The CDG_NCE segment was on AF. THe segment has been in the record all this time as I've checked the record occasionally to look at seat assignments. WHen I looked today, the AF segment had disappeared. I call the Elite Desk and they were able to restore it, but could not tell me why it had dropped out in the first place. Last year, we had a somewhat similar situation where I put a reservation on hold for a few days and AF dropped their segment in the interim. These could have created difficult situations if I hadn't been checking on a regular basis and we arrived at the airport and found we had no reservation. I realize that this had to do with a partner, but CO should have some type of checking software in place to alert them to changes like this and/or alert the OP. |
Earning OnePass on KLM/AF
Does anyone know if I submit a KLM/AF boarding pass + itinerary to CO OnePass in order to claim missing miles, will CO contact KL/AF to further verify the details? If so, once the verification is completed, will CO leave any record with AF or on my historic PNR?

Just checked in (well, about two hours ago) for tomorrows flight, first time as SE for a flight booked as non-Elite. EliteAccess is recognized, but there are two problems:
- I'm being limited to one free bag (I booked in Aug) and 50# each. - As a SE, I didn't expect to get the upgrade, but I am not on the standby list for the initial segment. The second segment should clear as an upgrade in an hour or so, but I'm thinking it won't clear me. The OP rep made it sound like I wouldn't need to remove and readd my OP number. Any thoughts on what could be wrong? I called reservations and had them remove and readd anyway, during this time between the first and second segment processing. |
