The rebooking engine has hit new levels of broken. :(

I have a EWR-LAX flight, Y fare, for next week. When I try to change it, even when I select "Full Fare" it gives me a refundable H.

Then, I decided I to upgrade it and then try to change it to see what happens. Now it will only price full A irrelevant of the option I choose and there is even R availability.

Sadly, the helpdesk was useless and decided to just stop listening.

I booked RT flights from EWR-SAT and just noticed that the Complimentary Elite Upgrade settings are missing from the reservation. I have flights booked for later in the year and the setting appears on those reservations. Should I call CO regarding this or do you think that it's okay and just not showing? I haven't encountered this before.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I would call co.com support just to be safe, but you should be fine.

When I search for a Friday-Sunday DEN-IAH RT in the fall (Oct-Nov), I see at least one inbound choice (IAH-DEN) available only in FC despite all buckets being available. Case in point: DEN-IAH CO1098 Fri 11-7 books in "W", but IAH-DEN CO35 will only book in "F" (yes, "F")

Fare Class: First (F)
Meal: Dinner

On other dates (e.g., 11-16), CO35 does not even show up despite KVS indicating availability all the way out to "X9".

It would seem the gremlins are at it again. Right now, I can't seem to login to co.com or the preview site. My cookies were also wiped so it didn't remember me either.

To come back to this - with the aid of a very helpful tech support guy from continental we got to the bottom of this. Basically if you fill in your profile with valid UK phone numbers it won't work - you need to drop the leading zero - i.e. 0141 111 1111 becomes 141 111 1111. It will accept the leading zero, but will give strange errors as above and you can't book flights.....seems like continental.com needs more validation in the phone number fields.

Why does my text message notices from CO.com only work when I re-check the # in my profile on co.com? Does it need love from me, or is anyone else having this problem? It continues now for the umpteenth month....

Not sure if this was reported upthread, but while searching upgrade award seats for China, I found this notice posted on the summary page before you go to the purchase -


Note: Should you decide not to travel, a redeposit fee will apply in order to have the miles returned to your OnePass account.
This doesn't apply to Platinum members - it's not as much an error, but the code should be cleaned up to remove the warning from Elite customers who do not pay the fees, in order to avoid customer confusion.

Truly cosmetic. But, it would appear that the CSS's need to be adjusted to look "right" on Firefox. On the preview site, the main page is off-centered and the "My Account page" has issues with wrapping text and resizing things (such as the elite status meter).

After signin in on the new co.com mobile site and viewing your account and reservations, the "Full HTML Version" link brings you back to the Mobile version.

This has been a known problem for some time, not sure why CO refues to fix it.

All my current reservations just disappeared - on both CO.com and the preview site! I keep logging out and in and they are still ALL gone. :(
