At the end of the flight, it turned out that the miscreant was a 5 year old boy in the row behind me who "forgot" to tell his dad he needed to go potty. Yup, right in the seat.

Gas is temporary. Poop is not.
yuck, that is a time you make that boy clean it up! (as a parent)

Stink Shield

Dear OP, Why did you not construct a "stink shield" as described in the famous 2004 Continental complaint letter regarding seat 29E . The graphic diagrams make it worth looking at the actual complaint

How is it that there has been no discussion of flatulence since February given all of the hot air expended on Star Alliance and UA?

We've been trying to teach kids via the famous book "Everybody Poops" that everybody farts. It seems some of the adults need to remember this lesson!

Just because they write books like Johnny has 2 daddies, and change the word "weather cycle" to global warming in order to indoctrinate kids, doesnt make it right.
If you cant control yourself, buy a Depends from the F/A.

I've taken to keeping a supply of Gas-X at the ready whenever I fly. PELs (personal emission levels) are down, while SATMs (seatmate attitudes towards me) are up.
