I presume "flatus" is the plural. What is the singular, "flatum"?

This is a brilliant thread.

I get gas on just about every flight I take, so I apologize if I've nuked any of you in the past.

I believe the preferred nomenclature is "crop dust."

That's only when you roam the aisles in Y, sparing your brethren in the front cabin the wrath of the cheese soup.

I was rather gassy in 1E on CO1870 this past Monday - MCO-CLE. It was a 735 no less. If my intestines had required a weather forecast prior to takeoff, it would have included the words "mostly farty".

In recent weeks, I've taken to chewing liberal amounts of Gas-X tablets in-flight. I've eliminated nearly all noxious bass from my repertoire. ^

I have found Gas-X to have the reverse effect on me.

Interesting. So, if you were to eat a pound of baked beans, would that eliminate gas? @:-)
