There's no time like the present to start. Bonus points if you're able to dutch oven you're newly minted fiance.

To anyone who was on flight 5623 today from IAH to MAF, I apologize. It turns out that I was not the only one to suffer for an entire weekend of bad dietary choices. I do not think I have had that much fat in my entire life, and everyone on that plane paid.

For reference, the effect of audacious and unmitigated flatulence is much worse on an RJ than on a big plane... there is just no place for it to go. Someone should check and make sure the cities we flew over are still there.

I flew to Austin for the weekend on a combination segment run/ mini-vacation. It started late Friday night at Olivia with the veal risotto, then an early Saturday breakfast at a Mexican greasy spoon (Sazon), then more party food than I can count while watching UT beat Oklahoma. I'm an Aggie. Why the heck was I watching that game and eating that food anyway?

Then there was a late supper at Uchi featuring something called a "bacon steakie," then a heavy breakfast, then a couple of fairly disastrous airport meals. If it makes anyone feel better, the price I paid on the car ride home was even worse than the price everyone paid for being on the same airplane with me.

Seriously, I'm sorry. I will eat better for the next mileage run.

OK, apparently I have been living under a rock. I just realized that F/A's do this to, however we have a different name for it. Crop Dusting. I'll leave it at that! It does happen to us all though. (Just blame it on the pressure difference like we do .)

I've heard it called that before!

Blaming the presence of the gas on pressure differences is valid, but it has nothing to do with the content!

So what you are saying is a Southwestern Breakfast Burrito (eggs, peppers, black beans, corn) is a bad idea?

I've already considered my possibility for audacious and unmitigated flatulence on my trip this week. EWR-ATL on Thursday morning, return Friday afternoon with a stop at Morton's and a fast food breakfast or two between the flights. There's also practically zero chance that I'll be in F, so I'll get to punish the masses.

I eliminate my flatus in a perfectly natural manner.
