Today was the first time I was given an official 15 minute break- not to be interrupted. Gee it's only taken 4 months, 2 official temper tantrums and lots of pouting to get this.

Tomorrow is going to be a strange day. Starting with the red-eye to EWR tonight, all EWR flights are canceled for tomorrow. (I didn't check the status for any flights after 3pm on Tuesday)

The CO employees looked so worn out this morning with all of these big storms.

It begins. DCA-ORD and ORD-MCI both cxld for Wed.

Fortunately I was on the phone early (before cancellations hit) rerouting to IAD-DEN-MCI. Hopefully that holds up.

Glad you got a break. Nice to meet you on Friday, and I look forward to the calendars!

Looks like I'll burn my $200 in remaining UA Type B vouchers for a plain BNA-ORD-BNA on ER4s The other possible trip I have to fly is BNA-IAD(or WAS)-BNA. Ugh.

Fortunately it came out ^. Only a tiny spot on top that was not as moist as the rest but we did leave it at "warm" for two hours longer than the recipe suggested.

Still getting the hang of this newfangled slow cooker.

Just keep testing out things you like - we use my crock pot at least once a week now that she's also figured out how to use the thing well. I made tomato minestrone soup Saturday and the pot roast with tons of potato cubes today. ^

Of course the Packers. They usually use a DTW based 333. Even when they play Da Bears they take it to ORD.

DL is also running 752's on GRB-DFW and 763's on MKE-DFW this weekend.

I want to haz BKK but am not liking my options so far. WWTBD? :-:
  • China Eastern Airlines -- teh cheapest, terrible times
  • Cathay Pacific -- best times, can haz HKG stopover, but no AA miles and would create orphan account for Asia miles to get any miles
  • Asiana Airlines -- no haz stop over and is $600 more than CX, or $1,000 more than MU
  • Other -- pick another destination/airline

For our NYC trip this last weekend, we had separate record locators. Since we were upgraded on the AA 762's with the disabled power ports, the entertainment devices were nearly useless. I entered a customer service complaint for both my ticket and GF's. I got e-mail today that I am being credited 10,000 AA miles for the inconvenience. ^ GF got similar e-mail but received 20,000 miles. I sent nearly the same e-mail on both of our accounts.

I am outrAAged.

ETA: does anyone think I could get away with that as an early valentine's dAAy gift?
