Thank you for taking the lead on this Do, William! It sounds like a great set of events, and I plan to attend.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned that the corporate HQ of Whole Foods is on 6th St. If you want to praise or rebuke John Mackey, or just shop at the mother ship, or have breakfast as early as 6 AM, that's the place.

I was just alerted to this event by boxo,
having arrived home late last night from Madagascar,
where I rarely could check FT.
So, I will surely stay in town for this event,
and regret not seeing the CCC as a non-metallic SPG,
but at least I stayed at the Schiphol Sheraton
yesterday connecting between KQ and NW flights.

I just bought today's Austin Groupon, $15 for $35 worth of cupcakes at Delish, to use pig-out DO weekend.

Just want to chime in to say that anyone going on this DO will have a *great* time. I was the beneficiary of a tour from William in December and can definitely say that, without question, he loves his city and he loves to show it off Austin is a great place. He's also a great planner and I can personally vouch for how great some of the stops on the tour are - notably the BBQ!! Oh man, what BBQ in Texas

Just as an FYI, the url for the Flyertalk Austin Do at the Sheraton Austin Hotel has been added to post #2. If, for some reason, we run short of rooms/bedding types, let me know and I'll see what I can do about getting more added in.
