Sorry, I was referring to Mrs. Starwood Lurker and got the names mixed up. She was the one that we did not see that afternoon.

Ahh. Yes, she was given the afternoon off to prepare for the journey home.

William,

Folks will want to make sure to bring cash for some of the BBQ joints.

Also, if anyone is interested to try one other BBQ place and doesn't mind driving the Texas Hill Country, I was thinking of heading to Lexington, TX to try Snows BBQ before heading down to Lockhart.

Snows was voted #1 by Texas Monthly but it's only open Saturdays and rumor has it that you have to be there by 11am if you want to eat.

This sounds great! ^

Please put me down as YES/CONFIRMED. If there will be any room for the CCC.

Thanks!

Good point, and that was going to be added in later. There is a lot of information coming that has not yet been published, but anyone with an opinion about the details surrounding the events/entertainment should feel free to express it, just in case I miss something along the way.

So noted. Regrettably, we are currently only filling spots on the CCC tour by flying stand-by. Since some on the confirmed CCC tour list have yet to give an absolute "yes" to coming, there is still a chance either of you could get in, however.

Please put me on the list of stand-bys William. I'm sure I can find other activities if a spot doesn't open up.^

Gotcha down. Really, while I'm sure the CCC tour is going to be an okay event, it isn't really "all that and more." It's just a building where some folks work, but I guess from an outside perspective it holds a bit of mystique for members in SPG nonetheless. Personally, I would much rather visit the Capitol building/complex, the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum or the Harry Ransom Center or even DKR Royal Memorial Stadium, but then I work here at the CCC every day. LOL
